Have you all seen this report?

Sequencing and Analysis of an Irish Human Genome

I haven't finished reading the whole thing yet, but apparently they sequenced the entire genome of an Irishman. I understand he is DF21+ DF5-.

Maybe this is old news, since the report was published in September of last year.

Isn't this the genome of Jay Flatley, CEO of Illumina?

No, that's a different sample.  This is the genome of an anonymous individual.  Flatley's genome is available here: http://aws.amazon.com/datasets/3357.

Flatley is M222+ and DF21- while the Irish Genome was, at the time of the paper's writing, only known to be L21*.  DF21 was identified through a comparison of DF5+ samples from the 1000 Genomes project and the Irish Genome (which is DF5-).
