Sorry I have not posted here in nearly a year.  I'll add that Ravi's results are U5b2* and represent a new branch in U5b2 that probably dates to more than 20,000 years ago.  This might be new subclade of U5b2 that is found primarily in India.  We really need more mtDNA testing from south Asia to fully understand the current distribution and ages of U subclades.
