A member of the ISOGG Y-Tree Committee has posted on another forum where ISOGG has been informed the release of the Geno 2.0 results for men will be delayed for another week or two.

The reason for this delay is because they are finding numerous instances (particularly in Haplogroups I, J & R) where previous "synonymous" SNPs (different SNPs at the same level) are being found to be layered, requiring them to continually re-write the phylogenic tree.

This is also delaying the publication of papers related to the initial results of the project.

Y-DNA - R1b M157.2 (a private/family subclade of Z6/Z352) 111 markers tested

mt-DNA - J1c2g with the following private mutations: 315.1C 522.1A 522.2C C9974T C16256T (FMS tested and submitted to GenBank)

Autosomal - shows as a typical English ancestry. Tested with 23andMe, FTDNA
