I am pretty ignorant of this aspect.  Any observations worth making about the STRs of continental L21 compared to isles L21?

Will get out the L21* spreadsheet soon, Mjost.

Alan, I haven't look at it that hard recently but it's been tracking that there are no "continental" clusters other than East European Ashkenazi.

For the most part, I don't think we'll be able to view the English Channel nor the Irish Sea as a huge barrier to genetic distribution of L21+.
