Hello, I got my mtDNA result today.

It is U4.

Do anyone know some useful resources and data on its spread?
(I did much Y-DNA research, but unfortunately much less mtDNA)
I read that it is quite frequent in Western Siberia, so it is very likely to be Steppe Ugric ("Magyar") I suppose.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your query about U4.  There is a project at FTDNA for the U4 mtDNA haplogroup:  https://www.familytreedna.com/my-ftdna/group-join.aspx?act=groupjoin&group=U4&special=true&projecttype=MH&ekit=bEZblsNN6fw%3d
You can contact the project administrator for more information.

Hope that helps!
