My father's name is Forrest Thompson Robinson, of Emporia Kansas
His mother is Maybell Thompson, twin sister of Marian Thompson
His maternal grandfather is David Thompson who Married a ? Fisher, he was born in Birmingham England and immigrated to Emporia Kansas around the turn of the century.
His father John Thompson was of either Duthie or Aberdeen Scotland.  I know he was born in the vicinity of Aberdeen and that some of the family still resides there.  My father says his aunt, Marian Thompson, visited cousins in the area most of her life.

Can some one help me?
Thanks, A. Blake

There's an excellent website called You have to pay to view documents on the database, but its extensive & includes census results (every ten years, years ending 01. Unfortunately, these census results are only made public after 100 years, although the 1911 census is available), records of Banns & marriages, births, deaths, wills & other legal documents-you can even look up if people were in troublewith the authorities!
Good lick with the search!
