I initially listed my haplogroup as E1b1a. That was from my Family Tree testing. I also tested with SGMF and listed as L1c1. As I said before, I am searching for family roots and not really sure where this testing will take me. I have had several matches that have 25 of 25 marker matches and a few 12 of 12 marker matches. This includes both tests. Can anyone explain comparisons from from on lab to another to possibly combine searches to gather information on relationships from one group to the other? I will say again that the family lines I am trying to connect to are Collins, Poe, Jones, Edwards, Gill, and Blackman. The areas of origin are Possibly South Carolina, Texas, Louisana, Georgia and Oklahoma. I have now made a connection to to the Ferguson surname that originated in Brenhan, Tx.
