I understood the earliest known ancestor would be on the results page. I have proved by his Will that Samuel Goodwin born 01 May 1785 SC ; died 14 Feb 1872 in Brightsville,Marolboro County, SC and married 1809 Drusilla Bright and my g-g-gparents.  I was surprised when I saw my great grandfather John W. Goodwin placed there instead.
