Are there any DNA results for Morans from or near the parish of Drumraney in county Westmeath? For I beleive them to be the descendants of the Ua Muireagain, kings of Teffia.

In "Medieval Ireland: Territorial, Political and Economic Divisions", Paul MacCotter says "The first king of the nascent Muintir Thadgain of 'West Tethba' to gain the throne was Agda (d.972), Ui Agda, and probably the associated Ui Chathernaig and Ui Muirigein, are first found in Drumraney and Loch Sewdy ..."
