We invite you to submit your "Pedigree" for this Surname.   Our Surname Project is primarily interested in your Paternal line, as surnames are passed down from father to son, just as the yDNA is passed down.

Unknown Marchand born in Alsace Lorraine area about 1820.  Married Esther.
Lion Marx born about 1850 in Alsace Lorraine area.  Adopted by second husband (Marx) of Esther, above.
Nathan Marx born 27 May 1873, Waldbockelheim,Oberstreit, Germany.  Married Lena Meyers.
Sidney Meyers Marks born 24 April 1895 Buffalo, NY.  Married Marcia Maude Tritchler.
Eugene Melvin Marks born in Buffalo, NY.  Married Edna M. Aranibar in Buffalo, NY
James Sidney Marks born in Buffalo, NY.  Married Judith Mack in Alden, NY.
