I saw on this site,a K092C DNA Project ,but later on I couldn't find it,does anyone know where it is? And the site also doesn't appear to function,is it up and running? How do you join it?

My Haplogroup is mtK HVR1: ,224C,311C,519C. HVR2: ,263G,315.1C,497T,524.1C,524.2A.  These here are some of my sequence #'s.

Hi all,

In my opinion, HVR1 mutation 16093C in mtDNA Haplogroup K is a poor candidate for basing a project on. It's too common, could occur just about anywhere anytime in K. If you look at our 300+ member K Project, you will see that it occurs in over 20% of the members, including me. We might find a common ancestor in the last 10,000 years or not, but my pedigree chart doesn't go that far back.

Every K is invited to join our K Project. Use the blue Join button on your FTDNA personal page. If you tested elsewhere contact me directly. Let me know if you have any questions.
