My name is Garrett Carlson. I recently purchased a DNA kit ( #494773 ) for my grandfather - Gerald Thurston.
He has done a lot of research and believes his lineage dates back to Malichais Thruston, but cannot be 100% sure past the mid 1800's. I hope this test can confirm his link to Malichias

My pedigree:

Garrett Carlson (1988 - )
DeeDee Thurston (mother) (1966 - )
Gerald Wayne Thurston (1942 - )
Humble Washington "Dub" Thurston Jr. (1918 - 1997)
Humble Washington Thurston (1892 - 1966)
Nicholas Lowery Thruston (Legally changed the spelling to Thurston) (1855 -1924)
William Davis Thruston  (1815 - 1876)
William D. Mynn Thruston (1773 - 1843)
John Thruston (1750 - 1782)
Charles Mynn Thruston (1738 - 1812)
Colonel John  Thruston (1709 - 1766)
Not possible, Edward died in 1670, must be missing a generation
Edward Thruston (1638 - 1670)
John Thruston
Malichias Thruston
