The use of DNA in helping to sort out or prove one's genealogy has become a popular topic.? The newly formed metro Atlanta chapter of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy will hold its first meeting at 7 p.m. March 14 at the Cobb County Central Library, 266 Roswell St. Marietta, Georgia.? The speaker, Terry Barton, will give an in-depth case study of the Barton DNA project, one of the largest surname DNA projects.? Anyone who is coordinating a DNA family study or who wishes to start such a group is invited to attend.? The meeting is free, now reservations needed.?
