We invite you to submit your "Pedigree" for this Surname.   Our Surname Project is primarily interested in your Paternal line, as surnames are passed down from father to son, just as the yDNA is passed down.

If you ARE A MEMBER of this Surname Project at Family Tree DNA, send your pedigree by email to at  The pedigree will then be posted on the Surname Project's Patriarchs Page by or sent to the Project’s Administrator.

Della Hoyt of Kansas (she was not born there she arrived at age 2.  Her twin sister Nella died of typhoid fever during the long trek by covered wagon)  and Charles Fate of Clay Center Nebraska.  Della died on Thanksgiving day 1974 making pumpkin pies

You have Phyllis Ann Fate Gavin listed as deceased in 1973.  This is incorrect.  She is very much alive and breathing in Clay Center, Nebraska.  Also William has been deceased since September 29, 1979.

You also don't acknowledge Phyllis and Bill''s daughter.  They had one.  Their oldest child.  OOr is it only the men who count.  If you want the information come looking for it,  It's on the net and in the search engings.
