I am a descendant of the Elisha Dyer Sr who came with his brothers (John Jr, Manoah, Haman, and Hezekiah) to Wilkes Co NC from Halifax Co (?) VA about 1784; their father was probably John Dyer, Sr, d 1774 in Halifax Co, VA. Elisha migrated to SC and then on to Warren Co.KY circa 1810 where he died in 1816. His daughter Rosannah had married Benjamin Hubbard in Wilkes Co NC and did not migrate with the other members of her family. I am getting my information on Elisha and his family from Dyer Data written/published by Belmont Farley in 1970. Are any of the people in the Y-DNA project members of this branch of Dyers (John Sr et al)?
