One of our primary goals was to create an ancestral  modal haplotype for Deacon Stephen Hart. We now have eight completed 37 marker test.  With these eight  results we  have one of our primary objectives accomplished. All participants will have 37 markers eventually. Another goal will be to get "signature" modal haplotype of John Hart, the signer of the Declaration of Indepencence. There is some controversity over whether he is related to Deacon Stephen Hart. We can prove or disprove his relationship to Deacon Stephen Hart.

I'm interested in that Group C (John Hart 1651) and Group T which are the same,  do not match DNA????
There are 2 new Hart Cousins with one back with a 12 marker which is matching Group C, which would verify Heth Hart as the son of Thomas the Elder.  We're of course waiting for his 25-37 markers back.  Any thoughts on the 2 groups not matching????  Thanks, John B.
