Why does my str sequence look so much like a person from Ht35 ??

I only have about 6 matches at the 35 level. One such person is a Murphy at 36/37.
The other 3 matches are 33/37

Could the original L21 Guy have been 393=12...and 464=15c 15c 16c 16g

No. The modal for L51 and its descendant, L11, is 393=13. Above L51, 393=12 is the modal. Your 393=12 is simply a relatively recent mutation.

L21, as part of L51 (L51>L11>P312>L21), has 393=13 as the modal.

yes you are correct about that. I suppose my sequence just drifted that way.

I was a little set back on my heels when I saw what I thought was a lot of sequences similar to mine. http://www.familytreedna.com/public/ht35new/default.aspx?section=yresults

Mark Jost was kind enough to compare a haplotype group of about a dozen Murphys  with sequences similar to mine. One of the Murphys is a 36/37 match.

It worked out to a common ancestor perhaps 825 years ago.
Maybe shortly before that a common ancestor of mine had a mutation to 393=12?
