Am I missing something or is FTDNA failing to promote SNP tests in their Geographic project webpages and on their main website? i.e. when you are presented with their products page there is no option to take the Geno2 test!!

I would have thought that Geographic projects would default to asking participants take the SNP test (who wants to stare at 100s of virtually identical WAMH STR results for hours on end, only to find that they have radically different SNPs several years later?) but it seems they still channel them towards the STR tests used mainly in surname projects, which imo are almost a complete waste of time for geo projects.

I realize this is an old post but I just got my haplogroup results from FTDNA and they pitched the SNP sale with the results.  another 119 dollars though
