I skipped over testing for L21 and tested positive for DF13, my predicted haplogroup at FTDNA still shows R-M269. The haplotree doesn't go deep enough to show DF13 so I guess my question is shouldn't L21 and all other upstream SNPs show as "presumed positive"?
We had a similar case in my project where a member wanted a "green" long result on the Y-SNP report. As FTDNA's tree is so outdated, the only way to get that in your case, is to test for L21. As we both know, that is a waste of money. You know you are L21+. FTDNA's haplotree simply doesn't understand that DF13 is under L21.
The good news is that FTDNA said they will update their tree within 2-3 months.
