I tried to find a Hacker DNA Project for you, but the only one I can find doesn't have any actual male Hackers tested!

Perhaps you could get a male Hacker relative (a brother, an uncle, a male cousin) tested for y-dna?

I went to school with a girl named Cyndi Hacker. She was a good friend.

Hi Sherlene,

I have some male cousins who are Hackers.  If you find a DNA project for that surname (or a new DNA surname project is started)... let me know.

Then if you ever need more male members to join... perhaps I can contact them and see if they are interested.

Y-DNA: N-L551
mtDNA: H11a

Sherlene, there is a project for the Hacker surname and one man named Hacker just ordered a test, but he hasn't yet returned it.

If you'd like to become involved as an administrator for the Hacker project, you are welcome.  If you simply want t otest your Hacker family and stir up other Hacker researchers that you work with, that could be enough to get the project moving (finally)
