Title: Resources/Literature Concerning the X Chromosome
Post by: Seán MacGorman Powell on January 19, 2009, 08:16:13 PM
David Faux has prepared an excellent and extensive list of resources for learning about the X chromosome:

He has also prepared an X Chromosome Fact Sheet that you may find useful:

I added new material to the Resources pdf last night, and organized the articles into broad categories.  I will keep the same URL and continually update as I become aware of new relevant items.  You may need to clear your cache to access the latest version.

Next will be the X Facts file, which is a daunting task - trying to summarize most of what is known about the X in a few pages.  Anyway, in a day or two this should be completed with new info and better organization.

David.

Both documents have been modified today (8 Feb).  Clearly there is still a long way to go.  I am finding it somewhat difficult to organize the contents into meaningful categories (some topics seem to defy any effort to pigeon hole them).  Anyway, more steps, hopefully, in the right direction.

It occurs that there may be errors in the "Facts" document.  If perchance anyone sees something that is in error or inconsistent kindly bring this to my attention via PM (message).

Hopefully this work is helpful.  Both will be continually updated.

David.
