Title: Iberia Appears to be Mostly L21-
Post by: rms2 on December 06, 2008, 12:07:29 AM
Of nine men in the R-P312 and Subclades Project of Iberian descent who have received L21 results (not counting L21- subclades), all nine are L21-. That includes one Italian with the surname Penna who descends from a Spanish ancestor with the surname Peña.

One of the nine is Portuguese.

There is also an L21- Frenchman (not counted among the Iberian nine) who traces his ancestry to Abos, France, very near the Spanish border.

L21+ may yet appear in Iberia, but it certainly looks like it might be rare there.

Not good news for the die-hard believers in the Iberia to Ireland movement.

That's very true.
