Thus, there is a record of Ezekiel Hornsby in Irwin County, GA in connection with his brother-in-law. James D. Brown is my ancestor who married Elizabeth Hornsby b. abt. 1817, older sister of Ezekiel Hornsby. Elizabeth named one of her sons, Ezekiel, and the name followed in two more generations of my family. There is also information to support and older William James Hornsby in Irwin County that I'll gather up later.

Other siblings of Elizabeth and Ezekiel are:
William James Hornsby b. abt 1820
Sarah A. Hornsby
Daniel H. Hornsby
John B. Hornsby
