Recently I found our surname in Old Hunstanton, Norfolk, England and also in Tilburg, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.   It looks as though they originally came from Lyon, Rhone-Alpes and/or Correze, Limousin, France in the late 1500's or early to mid 1600's.

Records that old are hard to find but more are being put on line all the time by familysearch and geneanet as well as the various genealogy groups in England, Holland and France.
