Erected by Hugh Kelly in loving memory of his wife Jane Kelly who died 23rd February 1923 aged 62 years.  Also his daughter Lily who died in infancy, also his daughter Anna-Mary died 7th February 1910 aged 20 years, also his daughter Jeanie Scott died 31st May 1923 aged 25 years.  Also his father Hugh Kelly who died in his 56th year and his mother Jane Kelly in her 73rd year.  Also the above Hugh Kelly died Oct. 10th 1950 aged 91 years.  Also his son Robert James died 6th May 1960 aged 55 years, interred Landigan Cemetery, Birkenhead, also his son William, died 8th Nov. 1968 aged 81 years.  Also his daughter Sarah Stone nee Kelly died 13th Dec. 1978.

Erected by James Kelly of Portavogie in memory of his sister-in-law Jane Reid who died 15th May 1906 aged 82 years.  Also his son Hugh who died in infancy, also his youngest daughter Isabella who died at Winnipeg, Manitoba 10th June 1910 [1916?] aged 31 years.  Also the above named James Kelly who died 14th April 1921 aged 76 years, also Elizabeth Kelly who died 26th April 1929 aged 85 years.  Also Lizzie, granddaughter of the above James Kelly, who died 4th August 1930 aged 6 years, also Nessie and Isabella who died the 7th and 8th February 1935 aged 6 and 12 years.

In memory of his beloved wife Jane Kelly who died 9th April 1909 aged 67 years.  Also his son Thomas Kelly who died in infancy.  Also the above named James Kelly who died in Chicago USA 10th August 1915 aged 70 years.  Also in memory of David, son of the above, who died 12th Nov. 1939 aged 65 years, also Sarah Elizabeth, wife of David, who died 28th May 1921 aged 47 years.

James Kelly and his wife Isabella McCormick in the 1901 census.  I believe they may have resided in Portaferry at the time.  Their gravestones in Cloghy indicate James died 18th Dec 1908 aged 88 years, and Isabella died on 2nd July of the same year aged 85 years
