watched 'Man on Earth' on 4on demand. It put the breach of the Bosforus Sil at aprx 8400 B.C. It is thought to have taken 30-35 years to turn the pre exsisting lake into the Black Sea. They also reckoned there were 140,000 people living in the area at the time. Their decendants/culture appears a couple of hundred years later in the Balkan area. I was wonder is there anything relivant in the dna distribution (or anything else). Maybe R1a/R1b split alot of things seem to be happening in this general area around this time.
