I just found this page on the Wales Cymru DNA Project

Wales Cymru DNA Project - Y-DNA SNP

Which strike me as a useful addition for haplogroup projects.

It looks to be a new option for administrators, leastways I've not noticed it before.

This would solve a lot of problems.  Has anyone set this up for their project?

It certainly is an excellent way of organizing things, though I have no clue how difficult it might be to set up.

Very easy for a project administrator

On the GAP page click 'Public Website' under the 'PROJECT ADMINISTRATION' tab

This brings up a page with a tick box for 'Y-DNA SNP:’

I am one of the admins of the Wales project, and I just happened to notice not too long agao that an admin can add the SNP info to the project page. So, I added it to all 13 of the projects that I run. I think it is most useful for my Wales project however. ENJOY!!

Well spotted, I can't help but wonder why FTDNA didn't tell project admin about this new feature though.

They didn't really tell us ANYTHING about the new GAP! They just warned us that they would be changing, and one day they did. Some people did check out the new GAP pages before they went in, but only certain features were functioning when it was in beta. I am just teaching myself by playing around with all the features. sigh
