Over the last few weeks I've noticed DNA-Forums having issues loading up on the Internet and it has been getting consistently worse. Is this connected to all the new issues that surfaced up when they went to the new format? You can no longer post any pictures, avatars, etc on your profile as well the images that once were displayed are now always broken.

I can't speak for DNA-Forums - but I can say that you and are your colleagues are very welcome to carry on your conversations here at WorldFamilies Forum.

If you want to create some sort of "starter message" to lay out the background and set the stage for carrying on the discussion here - that's fine.

Anyone can read our Forum - I hope you consider that to be an advantage.

Yeah, we may need to migrate over to a more reliable website. What a shame as I like the format of DNA-Forums, but not sure why all the issues over the last few days now continuing to get worse. Maybe it was me driving everybody crazy with rambling posts and crazy words like "Refugistan". LOL.

I haven't been able to get into DNA Forums for over a week now.

I am glad to find another forum dealing with DNA Testing.

I know its definitely getting old. I can understand a few hours but when it goes beyond that and is out for days, that is when I get fed up with them. If the people responsible for maintaining the site aren't able to adequetly do their jobs, which seems to be the case, then I think its time to migrate here.

Yeah, it's very frustrating. It might be time to just hang out here and hopefully the vast majority of dna-forums users will migrate over.

Tell me some of the key Topics that you'd like to see and I'll give you a Board to pick up those discussions and carry on.  I won't claim that we are perfect - but we've been providing a website and Forum since 2004.  We plan to "keep on keepin' on".

Sam again, the site doesn't seem to be functioning properly. It doesnt seem to be able to send my registration email. Hopefully an admin can resolve this?

Its a shame that dna-forums is having so much trouble right now. I've been there for close to three years and have learned alot from those guys. I'm really liking this forum, it just needs more people! I know Razyn is on here, I'm not sure if Stephen is though. I'll contact him and let him know of our new residence.

Even when dna-forums does come back, I think we should still keep a discussion going here. Not only in case dna-forums goes down again, which it most certainl will, but to also get differing opinions and wider audience.

Terry, definitely include a more up to date topic on SRY2627 or maybe a Z196 catch-all.

I don't know, this hobby seems to do nothing but test my patience anymore. I've not gotten my email from this place to set my password and I've sent many requests. If thats any indication of how things are run, then I'll just wait for the forums to re-open. The facebook page isn't bad, not the best, but at least its reliable.

Hello folks,

I am a migrant from DNA-Forums. I didn't know this one even existed. I'll be interested to plumb the depths here. I haven't been able to access DNA-Forums for almost a week now and am wondering if it has gone the way of all flesh. One thing I liked about it was the section for Newbie Questions. Could something like that be added here? Maybe it's already here and I haven't found it yet? I see lots of familiar names here.

You've got it.  How about starting the first Topic for the Newby Board?
