This clip It is from a program called, "Lesser Spotted Ulster" and it is about the village of Kircubbin, which is on the Ards Peninsula on the Strangford Lough side, between Newtownards and Portaferry, in Co. Down, Northern Ireland. My great grandfather was born probably less than 4 miles from this village, in Portavogie, and my great grandmother was born in nearby Ballyhalbert. My grandfather left a written note saying that his father was born in "Poty Voty Vie Cur Cubben." It took me a bit of time to find the place that he had written about. I have been to Kircubbin.

Many thanks to Wayne Bailie for sharing this clip with us.
