My name is Thomas Kent looking for information on the Thomas Kent b 1730 in MD

We traced our Kent line back to this Thomas but would like to know about his family. We have from there down would like to know something about his parents and where they came from.

I finally figured out that one must log-in to the World Families Forum AFTER log-in to the World Families home page, before being allowed to post a reply to the KENT forum.

I just wanted to post a link to my RootsWeb World Connect database page for our earliest proven patriarch, the subject Thomas Kent, shown below:

This way others will be able to see the latest on him and that it is only a THEORY that he is the Thomas Kent born 1730 in Talbot Co., MD.  I continue to look for a PROVEN male KENT descendant of the Kent family of Colonial Calvert Co., MD, to take a 37-marker Y-DNA test to provide a DNA signature for this line.  Then you could test with the KENT surname project to prove or disprove my theory.
