Hi I would like to know when do you join a MTDNA Haplogroup project? Do you join before getting the MTDNA results or after.
I have had a Family Finder Test done. My Uncle is doing a Y-DNA test for me so I figured he might as well do a MTDNA test.
I have joined the CLEWIS project and I am confused about projects even though I have read about the projects.

Thank you
for your help

You can be put in a cluster of your closest matches.  Without that myFTDNA tells me I have 0 FGS matches and 273 HVR1/HVR2 matches which is almost completely useless.
