Denard William (Willard?) Hood (aka Will Hood) was born June 1864 in Illinois. He worked on the Illinois Central Railroad. He married Laura Jane Dooley 21 July 1865 in Dallas, Paulding Co., GA. They had five natural children (Nancy E., Lelar Estelle, Ernest H., Joe M. and Grace B.) and Laura had a daughter at the time they were married - Nora L. (father unknown). Will died 16 June 1936 and he's buried in Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg, AL.
Will is one of my wife's maternal great-grandfathers.
