Hello, Harold.  I've discovered a Cherokee connection in one of my family lines.  All I have is a first name, however, and don't know how to follow up this lead.  Her name was "Denta", a Cherokee Native American, b. 1730, in North Carolina.  She married Jesse Alexander Moore, b. 1750, in Orange Co., N.C., and had a son, Samuel Alexander Moore, b. 1770 in Sumner, Tennessee.  Can you suggest where I should look to find out more info on Denta?  Thanks much.
