There is at least one other Ards family link to Wyandotte Co., Kansas.

Robert D. Curran, b. 1852 Ballyhalbet,  son of James Curran of Ballyhalbert and his wife, Rachel Curran nee Warnock of Portavogie, came to America from the Ards and settled in Quindaro, Wyandotte Co., Kansas, where they owned a dairy farm. They also owned a small gas station called "Curran's Station."
Robert Curran and his family can be found there in Wyandotte Co. in the 1910, 1920 & 1930 U.S. Federal Census.
