Well I am getting tested.  Since there's almost no Dyckman/Dykeman DNA result maybe this won't help with that fam.  We'll see.

Autosomal testing results in 10,000 markers rather than the few dozen at most for YDNA or mytochondrial DNA.  But YDNA testing is still and will continue to be an important genetic genealogy tool.
