Trying to find other Welch descendants from Preston and Monongalia Counties, VA (later WV).  William, b. ca 1788 may have had siblings Catharine (m. Jacob Snider), Elizabeth (m. Moses Modie), Anne (m. Samuel Bonifield), and John (m. Margaret Hawley).

William's children later settled in Keokuk and Jefferson counties, Iowa: Mary, John, Sarah, Nancy, George, Julia Anne, Samuel, William, Daniel.
