Can anyone tell me whether I am Nordic, Celt, Gaul, or Roman?

13 25 14 11 11 16 12 12 13 13 13 29

I'd really appreciate it.

All the best,
Corey

This haplotype has no meaning per se, it is close to the WAMH (it would be necessary some deep exams: more STRs and the fundamental SNPs), but it could be interesting for my theory of the mutations around the modal, that remain in the modal except when a mutation goes for the tangent, and your DYS390=25 and your DYS385b=16 could be something interesting for my theory (DYS439=13 from 12 has less value). Then a  deep exam would be anyway interesting, above all if your haplotype is very recent in the R-haplogroup's path.

The link to my views on the mutations at DYS 385a and 385b are below.

And here is the link to my research on the progression of those markers to 11 and 17 at DYS 385a and 385b. In June 2006, 882 men shared an 11 and 16 at DYS 385a and 385b in the FTDNA database.

To navigate the second link insert line two, below, after ~nolenancestry/.

IMHO when dealing with R1b it is difficult to impossible in vast majority of cases to answer this question with 67 STR markers and all currently known SNPs, let alone 12 markers.

I say you are a little of all of the above.

Hey Corey,

Nordic, Celtic, etc. these are all labels that do not mean that much. The Vikings were a mixture of all kinds of haplogroups, but they were all Vikings! It just depends on what culture you connect with the most.

For example, I personally connect with the horseshoe throwin' culture. That there makes me a horseshoe thrower.
