The ice is back, choking the Strait.I thought it was gone?
Sometimes they have to delay the May 1st opening of Lobster season
because of ice.

Here the weather has turned nice.

But that happens all the time around here. It'll turn fair and warm, the flowers and new leaves will think the coast is clear and start sticking their necks out, and then a hard freeze or a March snowstorm will come along and kill everything back and make things ugly until around the second week of April.

I've seen it happen many times.

There are still  patch of snow here and there in the fields, and ditches.
Maybe a 6 inches deep in the woods. I'm getting light rain today.

I'm looking forward to May 1st and opening Lobster season.
One big spring feed will do me for a year.

You can't see over the concrete sides of the bridge if you are travelling in a car. You need to be in a van or a truck.
