at Boston. He may be the father of
Lt. John at the Isles of Shoals, in 1658, b: 1633 in ME,
d: August 10, 1703 in Blackpoint, Maine. (m. Anna ?) who had children, Edward b. 1661 (m.
Elizabeth Plaistad), Benjamin b. 1673, (& Joseph? killed by Indians in 1703) and Patience b. 1675;

Thomas (b.1612) who shipped from London in 1635, aged 23 years,

Jonathan at Branford, Conn., in 1646, who had sons Jonathan, Thomas and John, probably born
in England. The oldest one Jonathan, and the only one by which the name was continued,
moved to New Jersey, and was the ancestor of Rev. John at Stockbridge, Mass., some of
those in Pennsylvania, and no doubt of Jeremiah at Parksburg, Va., prior to 1780,
who had sons, John, Henry E., A. C. and William.

Digory at Boston, 1675, and then at Worcester, Mass., where he was killed by the Indians
about 1703, and his family taken to Canada. His son Daniel lived and died there; his son
Thomas resided in Boston, Mass., in 1715; and his son John, who was killed at Fort Dummer
by the Indians, had sons Daniel, John, Thomas and Rufus, and the progenitor of what is
known as the Brattleboro, Vt., branch. He was the son of John SARGENT and Martha

Timothy (Chase?) . at Williamstown, Mass., who had sons, Timothy, Enoch, Ephraim, Junia, Ira and
five daughters, of whom it is claimed he was born in 1751 "on the voyage from England," also that
“he was born on ship-board in Newburyport harbor." It is quite possible… the place of birth and
similarity of names, he was of the Amesbury line.
