If you are in the R-L21 Plus Project and you ordered the 464X test, check your DYS Values page. We got some results in this evening. Most guys were the typical c-c-c-g, but there were two c-c-c-c results, one from another man of probable French ancestry.

There were also a couple of Irish c-c-g-g guys and a few c-c-g-c results (not sure of the significance of that).

So, check your DYS Values page!

Can anything be made out of 464X results?

I know 464X=CCgg has been found in numbers of the Irish sea model members.
I'm wondering how it fairs outside of this group?

It seems CCCg has been mentioned as a model for R-L21.
I'm wondering if this is still the case?

I think it's always the case, the modal RL21 would be cccg.
But it would be interresting to know what percentage and also those who are cccc.

I am ccgg, but not Irish  among my ancestors, only french

I think that 3c1g is the most common result for R-L21, but most people don't test for it and it doesn't show up on the FTDNA Y results screens so it is hard to know for sure.

I understood cccg to be distinct from ccgc.  Are these two being lumped together as 3c1g?

I'm 15c-15c-16c-17g

Somebody who is 15c-15c-16g-17c would be different from me but that distinction would only be visible with the 464X test otherwise we would both be just 15-15-16-17.

The sequence is simply placed in numerical order
