The well known evangelist BILLY GRAHAM'S mother MORROW COFFEY was part of this Coffey family. His aunt's visited Portavogie in the 1960's looking for their Coffey family, they met and talked with my mother.

This must be the William Coffey BORN 1769 above who is the witness below.

James Palmer of Glastry was married to Sarah Craig of Kircubbin in Kircubbin Presbyterian Church on Feb.27, 1822 (LDS M700361/0126). William Coffey and Elizabeth Filson were present. [This is the father of John Palmer who married Esther Coffey below]

William Coffey son of William born 5 Jan 1815 Farmer married Esther Glen in Glastry Presbyterian Church circa 1828.
William owned a lugger called "Ebenezer" which he left to his wife Esther and son Hugh.

The Will of William Coffey late of Portavogie County Down Farmer deceased who died 28 June 1879 at same place was proved at Belfast by James Palmer Grocer and Samuel Mahood Carpenter both of Portavogie the Executors.

HIS WIFE IS ESTHER
HE HAS SONS THOMAS, HUGH, ROBERT & JOHN COFFEY
DAUGHTERS NANCY AMBROSE, ESTHER PALMER, ELIZA COFFEY, & MARGARET DEVOY.

This is their daughter Esther's marriage in Glastry Prebysterian Church.

Capt. John Palmer owned a lugger called The Sparkling Wave.
