Lake Michigan is where they ran a shipping line.   Michael b1791, was the son of Michael McVea b c 1770 and Jane Nee Palmer Ballyfrench, P/vogie, and brother of Capt. James McVea b1796, Amos McVea b 1800, John b 1792, and Robert b 1794.

James McVea and brother Amos went to  Allegen Co. Michigan They died in Douglas, Co. Mitchigan.
