You can compare some of the new data of the HapMap haplotypes at
http://ftp.hapmap.org/genotypes/2009-02_phaseII+III/forward/I was particularly interested in the 66 million block where there is a very distinct
split between the Yoruba and the Han Chinese. Some of us match the Yoruba but
the majority of us match the Chinese. You can see the preservation of the X haplotypes in the parents + child trios in the various HapMap groups and compare with our own ancient X blocks. ID numbers of the individuals in the family groups are at GenBank.
There are also populations of Italians, Mexicans etc.
