When a U6 mtDNA project on FTDNA ?

It seems we are just a few persons who are U6: there is not yet U6 mtDNA project on FTDNA.
My mtDNA haplogroup is U6a. My mitosearch id is UE9BU. The are only 16 U6a id on mitosearch.
I will be very interested if some body decide to create a U6 project on FTDNA.

Why not have a go at creating the project yourself Bernard.

Its not very difficult or time consuming if there are only a few people in the project.

I am interesting to create the U6 mtdna project, but i am afraid to have not enough knowledge for that. I am just newbie in dna. I am intersted in this only since 6 month ago when i got my first mtDNA results.

Do you think i can nevertheless create the U6 project?

I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your posting.  You can request that the project be set up at FTDNA, and you can administer it there.  Or you can ask Terry at World Families (terry@worldfamilies.net)  to request the project be set up at FTDNA and World Families can provide the website and help you administer the project.  We can help as much or as little as you would like.
