Is there indeed an ongoing surname study including those with Wolfe/Wolf ancestors?

At Family Tree there seemed to be one, but it involved ordering a DNA kit.  How would someone participate who has already tested DNA & received the results?

Not only at FTDNA but here also. You can go to this link: http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/woolf/ . Obviously you have an account: when you get there sign in if you aren't already. When you get to that page and are logged in, read the instructions to submit your information.

Also, to view ongoing information submitted (genetically speaking), look across the top (under the name), and click on the "y-Results" link.

Another good resource is ysearch.org it is huge. You can submit your data and search by name or genetics.
