The following is an obituary for James Etta Huddleston, who married Clarence Lee McClendon:
Etta McClendon
Services for Etta McClendon, 102, were today at Greenwood Mortuary. Burial was in La Vista Memorial Park. A resident of El Cajon convalescent hospital, she died Wednesday.
Mrs. McClendon was born in Arkansas, lived in the county since 1927 and was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Presidents Reagan, Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon all extended birthday wishes to her over recent years.
She is survived by a daughter, a son, 13 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
