Seeking direct male descendants of
(1) Ezra Badger Jr, b. Amesbury, Mass 2/25/1744; all known male descendants in 1920 were living in the Bangor, Maine area.
(2) his 2nd cousin, Daniel Badger Jr, b. Conn 7/14/1720; res. Union, Conn; m. Philippe Hall; most descendants still live in Conn or Mass.
(3) Jonathan Badger b. 1756; m. Union, Conn 1776 Abigail Royce/Rice; settled in northeast Vermont after the war; most descendants still live in Vermont.
Wanted to participate in a DNA project to determine whether Jonathan is the son of Ezra or Daniel.
Volunteer descendants of (1) & (2) must NOT be descended from (3)
The only record found for a Jonathan b.ca. 1756 is the son of Ezra and he disappears from the record when his father moved to the Concord, NH area AND a Jonathan (the same age) appears in the household of Daniel, learning the sawmill trade.
