I am looking for the ancestors of Ernestine Julia Shumaker. She had a sister Florence Freida Shumaker. Their father was a ship's captain and the family sailed with him. Ernestine was supposedly born in Odessa, Russia. She married karl Pfannenstein, from Reichenberg, germany. His father was a Baptist minister. She emigrated from Stuttgart, Germany to Philadelphia, Pa, USA. She died in Philadelphia in 1938. Her husband worked for the Philadelphia Electric Supply Co. and was called Charlie.
