My mtDNA haplogroup was T1
My YDNA was R1B1B2e, which is part of the Niall of the Nine Hostages group. Apparently about one in every 200 males tested end up in the group, so I have 627 matches currently on FTDNA.
However, My mtDNA (both HRV1 & 2) has even more matches, 782 matches.
Is this number of matches common? Was there some "super Mommy" out there somewhere that was even more prolific than Niall?
Do others of you end up with this large number of matches?
