Erected by David McVea, Portavogie, in loving memory of his mother, Sarah Jane McVea, ded 20th Sept. 1883 aged 29 years. Also his brother William, died 5th May 1885 aged 3 years. The above named David McVea, lost at sea lat 50.42 n., 5 55 W., 4th Oct 1938 aged 59 years. His son William Castles McVea died 16th Nov. 1954 aged 42 years. Resurgan.

Erected by Samuel McVea, Portavogie, in memory of his father John McVea who died 17th June 1887 aged 65 years. His mother Mary McVea who died 10th May 1888 aged 58 years. His son David John who died 25th March 1900 aged 22 years. His son Samuel who died 8th March 1909 aged 25 years. His son Hugh who died 18th July 1917 aged 43 years. The above named Samuel who died 21st May 1925 aged 73 years. Also his wife Jane McVea who died 11th November 1939 aged 85 years. Also Lily McVea died 24th January 1969 aged 75 years. Ellen Hunter died 18th September 1969 aged 92 years.
